On August 25th, 1.3 Mil Palestinian children returned to elementary school. All are required to wear uniforms and bring their own school supplies — but many families in Gaza just can’t afford shoes, uniforms, backpacks, pens or notebooks for their children.
In partnership with four Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations in Gaza, help Rebuilding Alliance buy uniforms and school supplies for children in greatest need, so that they can go to school in confidence.
Let’s start with 200 children,
and as we raise more funds, we’ll get schools supplies to more children
The collapse of Gaza’s economy has affected all aspects of life. Due to the continuous siege, and the reduction of USAID and UNRWA funds, UNOCHA reports there are 24,349 children in the Gaza Stip who need educational supplies. Without pencils, pens, notebooks, and a backpack to carry it all, they face a significant disadvantage in their academic performance. A little bit of help can go a long way here.
Starting small and starting where it counts can make a big difference. Please help provide 200 vulnerable students across the Gaza Strip with backpacks, notebooks, pens, and pencils to let them know you care and help them do well at school. Of those 200, we'll also give vouchers to parents to help 120 children get new uniforms and new shoes. 
People wonder how Rebuilding Alliance can do this — our Palestinian Non-Governmental Org partners and RA have solid experience. RA's Executive Director personaly delivered 3888 backpacks and school supplies to children who attended 16 Gaza public schools. Our delivery was in full compliance with all U.S. rules and regulations because each backpack was handed directly to each child. Since that time, our four Palestinian NGO partners have delivered 35,400 Solar Lights to children in need, and now we deliver food and clothing too.
We know how to transfer funds in full compliance with US law, and supervise contracts and purchases in full compliance with US law - always.
