PDC I20+N: Genentech Gives Back + Raphael House

Give back by helping raise funds for Raphael House, a family homeless shelter in San Francisco!

Genentech Gives Back is an annual program during which we invite employees and contractors to participate in a variety of charitable activities, from volunteering to raising money for good causes. Through this program, we’ve been able to provide critical resources to adults and children in need, help homeless youth have a brighter future, support efforts to feed people who are hungry and so much more. This year from May 18th through June 19th, the PDC I20+N team is supporting Raphael House, a homeless shelter for families in San Francisco.

The mission of Raphael House is to help low-income families and families experiencing homelessness strengthen family bonds by achieving stable housing and financial independence.  Families in Raphael House's Residential Shelter and after-care Bridge Programs are provided with many supportive services such as career development, K-5 and teen tutoring, family wellness services, intensive case management, children's programming, and financial literacy. You can learn more about Raphael House here.

If you haven’t already done so, please consider looking into whether your employer has a matching-gifts program. It is increasingly becoming the way companies conduct their philanthropy, and it’s an easy way to double your donation.
