Peggy A. Ebner Memorial Fundraiser for Raphael House

Help continue Peggy's legacy of helping women and children

Peggy A. Ebner, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14 in her home in San Francisco. Peggy passed with her loving son John Ebner and his spouse George Limperis, her grandson Elliott and her dear friend Gail Thomson by her side. Peggy was diagnosed with bladder cancer in late May of this year. Read Peggy's full obituary here.

In lieu of flowers, Peggy's family encourages her loved ones to make a donation to Raphael House of San Francisco, a family homeless shelter that provides families with supportive services to achieve stable housing, financial stability, and break the cycle of homelessness.

Peggy was always intently interested in women's and children's issues, having spent 50 years as a Registered Nurse and an Emergency Dept. Manager. During that time, she spearheaded the establishment of protocols for handling cases of suspected child abuse in the emergency department. Beyond her role as a nurse, Peggy was heavily involved with The United Way and for years did extensive fundraising on its behalf.

The memory of this loving, generous, strong, and intelligent woman will be cherished by her son John Ebner and her son-in-law George Limperis; her grandson Elliott Ebner; her dear friend Gail Thomson, and her numerous family members and friends spanning many years in Ohio and in San Francisco.

Thank you for continuing Peggy's legacy of helping others and for your donations to Raphael House.
