Hello Friends of Mercy House!
We are excited to be announcing that the Orange County Year Round Emergency Shelter will be opening soon! This is an exciting time for Mercy House, the County of Orange, and the men and women who are homeless in our communities. Over the past few years, we have been working diligently with our partners and County officials to secure a year-round shelter and the wait is now over! This makes a long term impact on those who are homeless in our community and on the scope of services within Orange County! As a longstanding partner of Mercy House, we hope you will continue to stand beside us as the opening of our shelter nears. Although we are at the finish line of creating a year-round shelter, we are at the beginning of our service and support within this new opportunity! The Orange County Year Round Shelter which will be located in Anaheim, will provide shelter and services to 100 homeless men and women during Phase 1 and Phase 2, and will serve 200 men and women near the end of the building project!
During this time, we are looking for support from friends and partners of Mercy House to help raise funds to purchase items necessary for Phase 1. These items include beds, mattresses, sheets, pillow, storage bins, and more. Consider partnering with Mercy House today!
