Join us for a whole new Paddle for Promise as we bring back a classic event on the Delaware: the circumnavigation of Petty’s Island on June 22, 2019.
The three hour paddle (yes, just three hours!) will start and end at Wiggins Marina in Camden.
Fifty fundraising paddlers will paddle in five-25’ voyageur canoes (see picture above). UPT will have one 25' voyageur canoe to share with 10 paddlers!
We are bringing back this once historic event circling the island that will soon be a nature preserve and highlight the Back Channel and the confluence of the Cooper and Delaware Rivers where UrbanPromise youth lead paddling tours throughout the summer.
This year, we're paddling so that UrbanPromise Trenton can reach over 150 of children and youth through high impact summer camp programming! We have a fundraising goal of $5,000! Think we can make it???
