Register to Paddle for Promise!

DO YOU WANT TO PADDLE WITH UPTRENTON? 

• Each Paddler registers, there is a $100 registration fee. We have 10 open spots! Just click on the GET TICKETS to register!
• After you register, UPT will contact you and help you set up a fundraising page for you to sent out to your friends with the goal of raising as much as you can to support your Paddle. We can even help you craft your emails if you wish. We send you an email timeline- most people give in the last week before the Paddle- to help you raise funds. We also send out a thank you to all your friends for their support.
• Day of the Paddle for Promise is July 6, 2018 and start time is 8:00am. We ask you to be there, ready to go by 7:30am. You will be assigned either to paddle in an outrigger canoe or you will be on a chase boat. If you are on the chase boat, you will switch with another paddler about an hour into the paddle. You will paddle about an hour at a time-sometimes more, sometimes less. You will arrive at Wiggins Waterfront Park about six hours after you launch.
• Food and beverages are provided for the duration of the Paddle.
• UPT will provide all logistical support and transport of paddlers to and from the launching and take out sites. Paddlers must be able to: swim well, be comfortable on the water, paddle in hour-long shifts with no breaks at a moderate to quick pace, and be able to climb in and out of the boats when switching paddlers. People with range of motion limitations or lasting injuries (ex. bad back) should not participate.
