E3 Project Programs

getting kids active and healthy every day!

Our mission is to improve the health and wellness of all youth in our community through exercise, education and environmental stewardship. Check out the brief descriptions below to a few of our key programs.

SHE [ ] (Setting High Expectations) is an all girl program, launching this January, that will educate teenage girls about a healthy mind, body and spirit.  The focus of this program includes promoting fitness and nutrition, building self confidence, teaching skills to handle failure, success and personal growth, as well as how to be a leader in the community.

Growing GREEN is new garden program that launched this fall with our first garden at the Garner Road Community Center.  This program works to increase access to healthy, fresh food that the kids grown themselves and increases their time outdoors away from computer screens but will also teach them necessary life skills that are always taught in the classroom.  This includes, responsibility, leadership, and entrepreneurship as we will be working to help the participants find a way to sell their excess produce to local restaurants.

CONCERT is a program based at Enloe High School where we will be working with 50 students twice a week to get them active and improve their knowledge of how to make healthy food choices.  We will be helping these students experience new exercise opportunities that they may not have had before such as yoga, pilates and rock climbing.

Trail Running: We offer trail running programs to various organizations throughout the Triangle. Currently, we coordinate with the Wake Co. Boys & Girls Club and the Triangle Big Brother Big Sister for these occasional programs throughout the year.
