#GivingTuesday

1. #GivingTuesday is a movement to create a national day of giving to kick off the giving season. #GivingTuesday was started in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation as a response to commercialization and consumerism in the post-Thanksgiving season (Black Friday and Cyber Monday).

The true spirit of the season is about giving back to those in need. Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station invites you to show your gratitude for our nation’s troops by making a donation on #GivingTuesday. On this global day of giving, our goal is to raise $10,000 to send our warriors home for the holidays.

We're looking for 200 people to donate at least $50 on #GivingTuesday. The absolute best gift in the world for our warriors is waking up on Christmas morning at home in their own beds, instead of their hospital beds. You can help make that happen.

Please help us meet our goal during this campaign by doing a few simple things:

- Share this link with your friends, family, colleagues and networks asking them to join you in making a donation on #GivingTuesday.

- Share the WFFS Facebook post on #Giving Tuesday on your Facebook page

Giving is the greatest gift of all. It’s that indescribable feeling of warmth and joy knowing that you have made someone’s day a little brighter, or someone’s life a little better. We are a nation of patriots, and together, we can give our injured warriors a merry Christmas they will cherish forever.
