4word: Seattle May Gathering

Ephesians 5:21 tells us to “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ”…..in other words, to honor Christ by putting others first. This is the essence of nurturing, and who God designed us to be.  It’s in our DNA, and is a very special part of being women.  Whether we are mothers or not, all of us have innate “motherly” qualities that make us natural nurturers.  We spend a good portion of our time motivating, supporting, comforting, and loving those around us, yet we are often discouraged from exhibiting these characteristics at work.  Our theme for May is NURTURING, where we will explore ways to use these strengths to our advantage in the workplace.

Atop Columbia Tower, we will hear from a terrific leader, enjoy hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages, and be delighted by a most spectacular view of the city!  Our May hostess, Deb Jones, secured a beautiful room for us on the 76th floor of Seattle’s tallest building, and we’re thrilled to welcome a special guest speaker, Donna Carlson.  Donna is a speaker, coach, Founder of 360° Life Strategies, and is the Co-Lead of 4word: Colorado Springs (for more info, check out her website: http://360lifestrategies.com/).
