Winter and Holiday Cards by Grethe Herlin

These charming scenes are reflective of earlier days in Mor's (mother in Danish) native Denmark.

Grethe Herlin immigrated from Denmark to the United States following World War II and started painting in 1996 at the age of 79, while living in Napa Valley, CA.  She insisted that it was painting, and her dog Alexander, that got her up every morning.  MorMor worked primarily in acrylic and described her choice of colors as "nature's palette." Her cheerful colors and her familiar subjects can brighten even the dullest day. MorMor died in 2016 at the age of 97.  Mor's cards have been donated to the Charter for Compassion by her daughter Lone Hansen.

Mor's "Winter and Holiday" cards are sold in packets of 5, 10 and 15 cards.  Purchase a packet of 15 cards and get 2 extra.
