Kayla Funk was diagnosed with a pediatric cancer in 2013 at age 18. After realizing how severely underfunded research is for pediatric cancers, Kayla and her family founded Open Hands Overflowing Hearts as a way to fund research to end childhood cancer. OHOH supporters have since raised over $1 million and funded cutting edge research both locally and nationally.
