Campaign Update: Thanks to everyone who contributed and helped us reach our goal! We now have funds to construct the wells and have an opportunity to send a professional film crew to the villages to document the impact and tee up our next H2OPE campaign in Assam, India. After a matching grant, we only need to raise another $3,000, so if our campaign total hits $88,000 it'll happen! Please consider contributing if you're able.
Original Campaign Overview: Madagascar is one of the world’s more biodiverse countries, and also one of the poorest. 88% of the country lacks access to a toilet, and nearly half don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. Sadly, all 3,500 people living near the village of Anivorano, including Numi Tea’s 361 organic turmeric farmers and their families, lack a local source for clean water.
To empower this community, Numi Foundation is building 22 wells to deliver every one of these people, and their children’s children, access to clean water for life.

The cost to build each well is $3,500, and since a generous donor has committed to covering all ongoing maintenance costs, you can be assured that once these wells are built they’ll continue to provide water to the Malagasy people for generations to come.
