One Strong Kick 2016

Join us for the 5th Annual Event One Strong Kick, an iACT event to benefit soccer programs for refugees living in eastern Chad and other refugee communities!

One Strong Kick is truly a spectacular evening!

Begin with our host bar which includes handcrafted Suerte tequila cocktails, beer from Monkish Brewing Co., and wine from Brack Mountain Wine Company. Enjoy Villegas tacos and locally-made desserts by Bake Your Cakes; and dance the night away with live music by family duo David Veerman and Crystal Kakebeen-Duarte, local hit Kira Lingman, and headliner band The Hitstorm!

Explore iACT's incredible program for Darfuri refugee children and the goals to expand both throughout and beyond eastern Chad. Visit our Facts. Action. Impact education room and engage the local Mira Costa High School Mustangs4Change club! There will also be a raffle and silent auction, as well as an art exhibit featuring Darfuri refugee art.

There are currently five Darfur United Soccer Academies serving approximately 5,000 children, and iACT plans to launch three more this year in eastern Chad, as well as expand to other countries. Next winter, the Darfur United all-refugee Men’s Team will aim to host friendly games with other soccer teams from around the world.
