“Where Academics, Industry, and Technology meet to develop the 21st Century Workforce.”

In August of 2017 Istrouma High School will reopen; and celebrate its 100th birthday with a 21st Century look and prospectus.

The nucleus of Istrouma High School, Career Readiness and College Prep Program affords students the knowledge and skills for successful transition into the 21st Century Workforce. With a host of career options, students will receive the education and training necessary to secure a college degree, technical certification, and/or apprenticeship.

The $21 million renovations are being achieved without a tax referendum.  Leaving the $3.5 million renovations for the Annex (the proposed Middle School site) and the Auditorium incomplete; and the $1 million for extracurricular activities (academic clubs, music, sports, etc.) underfunded.

In essence, we need $4.5 million to complete the proposed renovations at Istrouma; and we need your help.
