Kuntal Joisher is the first vegan to have ever summited Mt. Everest. Devastating natural disasters struck his expeditions in 2014 (an avalanche at Everest Basecamp) and 2015 (the Gorka earthquake), but in 2016 Kuntal returned to Nepal, determined to make it to the top.

Join Kuntal for a hike up Mission Peak, where you can enjoy views of the Bay Area while hearing Kuntal's take on scaling the wold's highest mountain and how he was able to do it on a vegan diet.

This event is to benefit Sunsar Maya, an organization that provides academic, medical, and emotional support for orphaned and disadvanteged children in Nepal. Please consider donating when you register.
