May is the 30th annual Bicycle Commuter Challenge and Vince Schueler invites everyone to join the Rick Kunkle Memorial Team to raise funds for Homes First in Thurston County. Rick Kunkle cared deeply about creating affordable housing for those who need it most. To learn more about the work of Homes First go to http://homesfirst.org
To join the team, sign up at https://www.intercitytransit.com/bike/bicycle-commuter-challenge and list Team Kunkle as your team name. You can ride or you can collect pledges per mile or per team member that will go towards supporting Homes First. Or you can sponsor the team by donating here.
As of May 31- we have 21 members, 2,300 miles logged. We still have a few folks who have not provided final numbers.
