Helping Moses

Our Sanctuary boy Moses is in desperate need of surgery. We can get him scheduled for this week but we desperately need funds to do it. He is such a sweet boy and deserves a life pain free. Moses arrived to Iron Gait with a swollen hock. After Veterinary investigation, we found that he has multiple bone chips surrounding his left hock which has now begun hindering his movement and his ability to rise up on his own after he lays down. We have to assist him on occasions. He is on daily supplements and meds to help keep him comfortable until surgery. With this surgery Moses will regain movement being able to live the rest of his life pain free. With possible light ridingin his future. Surgery was estimated between $2000.-$2,500. Which includes his post op care, treatments and medication. With recent set backs like the flood last month and our farm truck needing a new engine here at the Sanctuary, we can not afford to do this alone anytime in the near future. Please again, Help Moses?.... Any amount will help, every penny adds up! We are a 501(c)(3) All donations are tax deductible! You will receive an instant personalized email with your receipt of donation.

2015 Christmas Storm Flood Damage

Flooding as a result of the Christmas rainstorms in Georgia destroyed large portions of creekside fencing that bordered our horse pastures. All the horses and donkeys are safe. However, despite some temporary fencing, this has left us with 25 or more acres of pasture that we cannot use for them until repaired or rebuilt. We are asking the community for help to rebuild the fencing for the horses' safety and for the horses' welfare. We would welcome labor, fencing items, or a donation towards fencing items. *All contributed donations from this page will receive a email from us with a printable receipt to use for your taxes Thank you!
